How to record audio and video on a Skype call

To record the audio-video aspects of your conversation via Skype, you need to install EVAER. This is ‘Excellent Video and Audio Recorder’. It is a free software which is available only for Windows. You can record for free the first 5 minutes of audio as well as video calls. For calls longer than 5 minutes, you will need to register & pay $19.95.

1. Go to www.evaer.com & download the software.
2. Contact your family member on Skype. Once you get the connection, start EVAER and click on “record”. Start talking.
3. On your hard disk the software will have a list of the recording, including the date & the duration of the recording.
